In Szyndzielnia (1028 m above sea level) there is a shelter, a cable car going to the top, and an observation tower just next to the upper cable car station. From the viewing platform, you can see a panoramic view of the city at the foot of the mountains, as well as the peaks of the Beskid Mały, Śląski and Żywiecki. A ticket for the tower is purchased with the ticket for the cable car.
From Szyndzielnia a trail leads to the top of Klimczok (1117 meters above sea level). In the summer, one of Klimczok’s attractions is its outdoor swimming pool and a seven-meter climbing wall. In winter you can also use the ski lift.
Żar Mountain
Another interesting attraction to see is Żar Mountain (761 meters above sea level), which rises above Międzybrodzie Żywieckie in Beskid Mały. You can see from it a charming panorama of the neighboring mountains. There is a hiking trail that leads from Międzybrodzie to Żar Mountain, but it is also possible to use the cable railway, which is open all year round.
There is a ski route nearby and there are also glider flights over the Beskid Mały and paragliding flights. At the top of Żar Mountain, you can also find a bike park with downhill routes for cyclists. In winter, however, the slopes belong to the skiers.
